A Hearty Family Saturday Roast at The Westin Singapore

The year is coming to a close, and we all know what that means; mouthwatering, lip-smacking, bountiful meals with plenty of meat. Well, what we clearly need, is a good roast! In anticipation of that, the folks at The Westin Singapore’s Cook & Brew have come up with a weekly classic roast dinner to satisfy your meat cravings – perfect for family celebrations, gatherings with friends, and of course, that super indulgent dinner date.

Why a roast? Traditionally, it’s something most folks engage in when there’s a celebration, especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas. The fact that there’s an abundance of dishes that can’t fit properly on the table (thus prompting people to pass you food), the cramped spaces (creating more conversations), plus the unified appreciation for food makes it a perfect platform for bonding.

At Cook & Brew, you get all of that and more (without the sweating and washing up!). Did we mention the stunning view of the Marina Bay waterfront you get on the 33rd floor?

Available every Saturday evening from 6pm till midnight, the Saturday Night Roast will transform the gastro-pub’s dining area to incorporate ‘live’ carving stations that showcases different choice cuts of premium meats. Even the most discerning meat aficionado will be spoilt for choice with three different types of roasts – Prime Ribeye, Catch Of The Day, and a Specialty Roast Of The Day.

Served on a rotational basis, you can look forward to delectable highlights such as Salmon, Sea Bass or Snapper for Catch of The Day; and Suckling Pig, Roasted Pork Belly, Bone-in Ham, Whole Roasted Chicken, BBQ Turkey or Roasted Lamb Shoulder for the Specialty Roast Of The Day. The best part? Unlimited servings of meat, home-made gravy and sauces, Yorkshire Pudding, and Grilled Sourdough!

No roast dinner is complete without side dishes and desserts, especially so when it comes to those at Cook & Brew. Complement your meat with a wide assortment of delectable side dishes, with a choice of two cold plates (such as the Beetroot and Goat Cheese Salad and Apple), two starch (keep things classic with Buttery Mashed Potatoes or the East European inspired Perogies stuffed with Smoked Cheddar and Potatoes), and three vegetables per table (go for the Roasted Heirloom Carrot and Apples and the Sicilian-styled Grilled Vegetables).

Finally, make sure you keep some space for dessert as you round off the feast with a French classic: the exquisite Marjolaine Cake with luscious layers of chocolate, buttercream and meringue.
