Ray Lugo is an American songwriter, producer and DJ from New York City and is the leader and singer of Kokolo Afrobeat Orchestra and Ray Lugo & The Boogaloo Destroyers.
His volume of work contains over 85 discographic credits and he has recorded and performed with artists across a wide range of musical styles including Charlie Hunter, Joe Bataan, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, Manu DiBango, BeatFanatic, Faze Action, Roy Davis Jr., Diesler, Lack of Afro, and with members of groups such as Matisyahu, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Antibalas, King Sunny Ade, Grupo Fantasma, DJ Logic and many others.
His debut solo album, “We Walk Around Like This”, is out now on Jazz & Milk Records.

Instigator Afrobeat Orchestra is Dub Skank’in Hifi houseband consisting of 9 members.Influenced by the music of Afrobeat, Afrosoul, Funk, Reggae & Ska.Dub Skank’in Hifi Soundsystem has been holding monthly parties featuring bands & djs since 2010 playing Reggae, Ska, Afrobeat, Dancehall & Dub.Due to the ever growing need to create and feature live music to our ever growing audience.Dsh soundsytem decided the time has come to form a houseband dedicated to playing the music that inspires us.The houseband consist of experienced players from other notable local bands and features a blistering horn section,2 percussionists and a tight rhythm section playing foot stomping Afrobeat & Ska..That will keep u skank’in & stomp’in all the way home

Music extraordinaire Rumshot, aka Firmann has always been passionately rooted in the music scene. Since his early years when he started out as a percussionist, and brass band player, he has always crossed many genres of music. Firmann continues to keep his roots firmly placed in the: Reggae and Ska (as founder of DSH soundsystem); World Music (founder & drummer for Instigator Afrobeat Orchestra) and Brazilian / Latin ( founder and ex-member of Wicked Aura Batucada and member of Novo Bloco); scenes, as well as a professional music teacher, musician, and sound engineer.
Rumshot is sure to rock the dance floor with his all-time favourite selections and eclectic mix for you to skank your socks off to, heightening your rhythmical delight.

Wan is the founder of Straits Records – the sole record store in Singapore that offers a wide variety of alternative and hard-to-find collection of music and vinyl. He has been in the music scene for most of his life; an avid and recognized collector and distributor of music.

Sham has been a music fanatic since his crazy, hazy teenagehood, with a no-holds barred attitude towards music, all in the name of (listening) pleasure. A percussionist, sound/music designer and ethnic music instrumentalist, Sham graces the decks with his borderless selections of Dub, Dubtronica, Dancehall and Reggae for our nights.
