Nestled in the Kampong Glam conservation district, Aliwal Arts Centre is a multidiscplinary arts centre that strongly focuses on the performing arts. Aliwal Arts Centre aims to support the artistic development of both contemporary and traditional arts groups, while drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage in the area.

Aliwal Arts Centre hasn’t been on our radar for a long time, but this year the Aliwal Urban Arts Festival totally blew us away and kept us waiting in suspense for their next events. This May, we’re looking forward to the multitude of local productions from Teater Ekamatra and the theatre and singing workshops being held there.
