Cartoons Underground is back!
Singapore’s first and largest independent animation festival is back for the fourth year!
In partnership with Sideshow, join us for heart palpitating scenes and plots that will drive you to the edge of reality while hanging out with the creators themselves!
Grab a beer and a fistful of popcorn and catch award-winning animated films by directors Gabriel Möhring, Jessica Poon, Nicholas Chia, Jossie Malis, Amanda Wang, Kong Yee Rou, Ronald Fong, Chen Xi and An Xu.
This community-driven festival was founded by Patrick Smith, Director of MTV Daria, and Vicky Chen in 2012, and has grown through crowd-funding and artists’ contributions. This year’s festival line up was curated by award-winning independent local animator, Tan Wei Keong. The festival has expanded to a community of 1000 members, not limited to the arts and animation community in Singapore.
This year’s official poster was done by Sean-Paul Adams, underground artist from New York.

Cartoons Underground is happening on Saturday, 17 October 2015 at Emily Hill. Showtimes are at 7:30pm and 9pm followed by a personal Q&A with directors.
