Co-Working Space Review: WeWork’s All-Access Pass is Your One-Stop Solution in Singapore’s CBD

Co-working seems to be more common than not these days – they’re certainly more equipped to deal with administrative needs than working out of a cafe. Thankfully, these spaces have continued running under COVID-19 regulations, so businesses and entrepreneurs can enjoy increased networking, even under current restrictions.

And for nomadic working folks looking to jump on the bandwagon, WeWork is soon launching a new programme that works beyond the four walls of one co-working office. Not only does WeWork boast 13 stylish branches peppered around Singapore’s CBD, it also has over 800 locations worldwide. And the All-Access membership, where you can book a hot desk at any WeWork space, is your passport to every single one.

In today’s dynamic world, being static can be dreadful. Sometimes, the key to a productivity boost is just a change in working environment, as some of us have learnt during the past year of working from home. In Singapore alone, WeWork has 13 branches peppered all over the bustling Central Business District (CBD), each with its own unique culture thanks to the Community Managers. When international travel starts to resume, as will business meetings, this passport to 800-plus offices across 150 cities worldwide might just be the biggest boon yet. Plus, the All-Access Pass allows you to utilise the amenities at all WeWork branches, making all of them equally viable options.

Amenities

The pandemic has shown us the possibilities, and limitations, of remote and flexible working. Have a meeting with a client but don’t wanna do it in a noisy cafe? Book a meeting room at WeWork, equipped with TVs for presentations or video-conferencing. Most locations also have whole offices available for small businesses. Have some networking to do? WeWork’s locations come with coffee machines, and free-flow 1925 beer or kombucha for some professional happy hours between 5pm to 7pm.

For a quiet place for a Zoom call? Look no further than the soundproof phone booths. All these come with the basics, such as printing (14,400 B&W prints, and 2,400 colour prints a month) and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Membership Perks

WeWork’s All-Access Pass also makes you a part of the WeWork community, which currently comprises of enterprises across industries such as aerospace, software engineering, and pharmaceuticals. In addition to discounts at local businesses under Friends of WeWork, gain access to networking events across all their locations through their events portal and simply RSVP to them. Bookings of their offices (from five credits), meeting rooms (from five credits), and desks can be done an hour before, making it great for impromptu grinds. The All-Access membership comes with 900 credits a month.

The verdict: WeWork’s All-Access Pass provides unprecedented convenience, with all the perks of flexible workspace options, while giving a sense of community that is uncommon at co-working spaces. In anticipation of global travel resuming, this membership might prove useful in giving employees the ability to have access to quality work facilities wherever they go. It really delivers in every aspect possible for a co-working space.

Existing members can enjoy All-Access membership perks till 30 June 2021. All-Access will be launched in Singapore later this year.

WeWork‘s headquarters is located at 9 Battery Rd, Singapore 049910, p. +65 6681 6768. WeWork has a total of 13 locations islandwide.
