Don Quixote (PG) by Paris Opera Ballet

This magnificent revival of Kirov’s piece from the classical repertoire was choreographed by the legendary Rudolf Nureyev and first performed by the Paris Opera Ballet in 1981.

Don Quixote and his faithful squire, Sancho Panza, get mixed up in the wild love affair of the stunning Kitri and the seductive Basilio in this richly colourful, humorous and virtuosic ballet.

This production is part of a series of Paris Opera Ballet screenings showcasing different ballet styles through the periods.

Including: Never-before-seen rehearsal footages and interviews with the dancers by Brigitte Lefèvre, former Director of Dance, Paris Opera
