Exhibition Opening : 29th November, Saturday 7- 9pm

Canvas Creative Space is proud to showcase the works of ASHES57 (Delphine Ettinger). A special one week exhibition that captures her passion and dedication in visual art and music. These artwork contrasts between urban street life and quirky characters in distinctly bold black and white line drawn style that links her illustration, painting and print work – images which are dense and detailed with fine and intricate lines. In conjunction with ’10 years of HYPERDUB Ft. KODE9 & DJ SPINN’ happening on the 6th December 2014 at CANVAS, we intend to show that the boundary between visual art and music has become more complex, as artists see music as inspiration, subject, and object to an ever greater extent. Our featured artist, ASHES57 explores the intersection of these two worlds through new media, archives, photography, video, and prints.

Prints and Merchandise will be on sale for the opening.
