Newton Circus Food Centre

Being one of the most popular eating spots for both tourists and locals alike, Newton Circus is definitely credited to be one of those places where all the good local hawkers gather. Come here for some BBQ, fried carrot cake, Fish soup, Char Kway Teow or Nasi Padang. For whatever you wish to have, you can find at least a couple of stalls here that are specialized in whatever you are craving for. The selection here is rather overwhelming, so don’t be afraid to push through all the touting and take your time to choose what you want.

Stalls to visit include #37 Song Kee Fish Soup, #39 BBQ Seafood and #47 Oyster Omelette.
Opening hours: Monday – Sunday: midday – 2am.

When Joel’s not partaking in one of his shameless eating sessions, he likes to think of himself as a sponge – absorbing the mysteries and beauty of our world – be it through a good book or a wacky jaunt in a foreign country.
