Oktoberfest Returns This Month with Beer Deals and German Grub For All with 1-Group

Nothing quite as enticing as the sweet and fruity Erdinger, one of Germany’s most iconic wheat beer breweries. In a special collaboration, Erdinger and 1-Group is bringing you great deals on pints along with the winning combo of sharing platters. After a hard day’s work in the CBD, take respite at the eloquent Sol & Luna and indulge in the Beer x Tapas Platter (S$60), or the Beer x Meat Platter ($$180). The former is perfect for a hushed post-work celebration with a pair of beers, and a trio of Padron Peppers, Soft Shell Prawns, and Sol & Luna Fries. Whilst the latter is ideal for team-bonding with an ensemble of signature meats including the Wagyu Bavette, Veal Shank Pie, Welsh Lamb Shoulder, Corn-Fed Chicken Breast and Asparagus served with house-made chimichurri and truffle sauce. In need of more beer? wind down with just S$15 per bottle, or S$50 for a bundle of five.

Indulgent Gatherings With The Pals

Beer and Meat are treat best enjoyed with a pal or two. Cash in on extra savings and cravings as you make the snazzy 1-Atico your ideal hangout spot with the pals. Along with breath-taking paranoic views, the penthouse destination is offerings a meaty feast to share with the 1-Atico Oktoberfest Platter (S$85++ for 2, S$185++ for 4). Expect all things German with your plates decked out with classic Pork Knuckle, Bratwurst, Snail & Veal Sausages along with condiments and dips. For the sippers, nothing better than ice cold pints of Erdinger or Guinness at S$15++, S$50 for a bundle of five (Erdinger) or S$33 for a bundle of three pints (Guinness).

For a more tranquil spot the TXA Gastrobar at the opulent The Alkaff Mansion is also offering an all-inclusive Oktoberfest Platter ($178++ for 4) with hearty meaty grub sporting the likes of  Roasted Pork Knuckle, Pork Schnitzel and a trio of Snail, Veal and Chicken Cheese Sausages. Whilst a toast of four pints lubricate the conversations. Need a top up? Tops are also available at just S$15++ per glass.

A Quick German Getaway Date

An intimate date night, away from the city sounds like a dream. If you’re thinking the same, head on over to the idyllic Wildseed Bar at The Summerhouse, perched by the Seletar Airport. Let the festivities take over as you swoon over German-themed decorations as well as crowd favourites like 12-hour marinated and slow roasted succulent Pork Knuckle (S$60++), as well as Sausage with Bavarian Pretzels (S$45++) with a three different types of grilled sausages, and accompanied with a side of mash. For double dates and family affairs, the Meat & Sausage Platter (S$145++ for 4) has got to be your go-to with the addition of four Erdinger pints to cool off in the Singapore heat. For your all-day drinking affair, tuck into Erdinger pints at only S$12++ each for a top-up.

Kids and Furry Friends Welcome Here

Nestled within Botanic Gardens, you can easily make a day out of visiting Bee’s Knees at The Garage. After admiring the flora at the gardens, bring your kids and furry friends to the casual café and bistro Bee’s Knees for an inclusive Oktoberfest affair. In the Bee’s Knees Oktoberfest Platter ($48 nett for 2), let your little humans tuck into pork knuckles, Tater Tots, Sauerkraut with Maple Bacon and Gherkin slices. Whilst the adults reward themselves with bottles of Erdinger at S$18 or at a bundle of three at S$45.
