Awaken the Dragon 2014 will be holding 5 weekend workshops in Haw Par Villa.

During the workshop, you will learn more about ceramics and the dragon kilns, as well as create your own clay work, which will, with about 3,000 others, be fired in the dragon kiln for the largest ceramic firing in Singapore, during the Awaken the Dragon Festival (17-23 Nov). After the firing, there will be a public exhibition of all the clay works. At the end of the exhibition, you will get to keep your work.

Each workshop is about 1.5 hours and costs only $25/person (the average price in the market is $45).

This is a great opportunity for first-timers to try out clay and for advanced learners to be part of the largest ceramic community art project in Singapore.
