Pura Gunung Kawi

This 11th century temple comprises of ten rock shrines dedicated to Balinese royalty. Located in the northeast of Ubud, Pura Gunung Kawi is set among tall palm trees and lush rice paddies making it a picturesque location. Some might say it is a bit of a challenging walk to reach the site as there is some rugged terrain and quite a few stairs to climb. However, if you are able to take up the challenge it is definitely worth a visit!
