Rakes F1 Race Weekend Parties

Gearing up for the 2015 Singapore Grand Prix Formula One (F1), Rakes will be hosting the ultimate race party every night from September 16 to 19, featuring renowned guests artists like rapper EVE and official Red Bull DJ Erok. Also happening during the F1 party week, is Asia’s first Official Gumball 3000 Rally Race Weekend Party held at Rakes. Partygoers also stand a chance to win a pair of 2015 Singapore Grand Prix F1 tickets (worth $500 per pair) to the practice, pre-qualifying and qualifying rounds of the race. Every two bottles of Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve (70cl) purchased at Rakes on September 16 and 17 gives you a chance to win.
SEPTEMBER 16, WEDNESDAY: BLAZERS & SQUARES, RACE EDITION
Flagging off the action is the first instalment of Rakes’ ‘Hits & Run’ Wednesday Ladies Night on September 16, in collaboration with epic party series brand SōKO. There is no better way to introduce our series of ‘Hits & Run’ Wednesday Ladies Night parties than starting strong with a stalwart party partner for ‘Blazers & Squares, Race Edition’. Lose yourself in the music with soul, R&B and Hip Hop that will keep you on your toes throughout the night.Ladies get free entry every Wednesday with free flow house pour vodka from 10pm to 1am. SEPTEMBER 17, THURSDAY: PRE-QUAL FT. DJ EROK
The night opens with Infiniti-Red Bull Racing team’s official DJ Erok, and DJ Patrick Oliver lining up the consoles to deliver a night of deep house and future house. Erok’s skill in blending from an eclectic palette contributed greatly to his widespread reputation across the world. His travels have seen him spin the soundtrack to everything, from Hollywood A-listers’ private parties to Formula One events in Monte Carlo, the Red Bull after-ride party at South America’s Valle Nevado ski resort to becoming the official DJ at the world’s top polo events.
Patrick’s repertoire includes spinning at international nightclubs and festivals, performing alongside big names like Dash Berlin, Deadmau5, Pitbull and LMFAO. In addition to being a resident DJ at international F1 circuit party brand, Podium Lounge, Patrick is also constantly seen performing at some of the hottest clubs in Asia and Europe.

SEPTEMBER 18, FRIDAY: THE OFFICIAL GUMBALL 3000 RALLY RACE WEEKEND PARTY
Asia’s first-ever Official Gumball 3000 Rally Race Weekend Party on is ready to rumble on Friday, September 18.Rakes unites an international passion for racing with two major global race events—Singapore Grand Prix F1 and British motor rally, Gumball 3000. The annual Gumball 3000 motor rally sees a seven-day international route of exclusive sport cars headed by celebrities like F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, Deadmau5 and David Hasselhoff at its helm, ending with the ultimate after-party.
Grammy award-winning rapper EVE will headlining the night with her rich and soulful vocals. Gearing up the F1 spirit is Infiniti-Red Bull Racing team’s official DJ Erok with his unique fusion of soul, funk, Brasilian beats, reggae, house, rock and hip-hop. Get ready for a wild night as they tear down the walls to bring you one of Gumball’s wildly famous after party.

SEPTEMBER 19, SATURDAY: MIAMI FULL THROTTLE
Miami’s streets have seen some of the most outlandish motorcars and speed races of all time. This race fanaticism is not lost at Rakes. Rev it up on the last day of the 2015 Singapore Grand Prix F1 with an all-out Miami Full Throttle. Featuring some of the biggest names from Miami, DJ DiscoTech and Erok go full speed ahead for a night of racy dance music. Comprising of DJ Konflikt and DJ Joe Maz, DiscoTech has gained worldwide recognition as one of the top duos in music with stalwart originals and remixes under their belt.Go full on with our Miami guest DJs as they back-pedal you to the arty 80s to 90s and colour the dance floor with neon splashes of pink and blue.
