Say ‘oui!’ to Easter Weekend Brunch with a French flair at Boathouse Restaurant

For Easter, indulge in a French-chic brunch during the weekend of 19 and 20 April 2014 at the elegant Boathouse Restaurant. Situated in the art-deco style Fullerton Waterboat House, this modern French restaurant proffers charming views of the Marina Bay waterfront within its airy, sunlit space and has planned a leisurely Easter weekend brunch experience for its diners.

The Easter weekend brunch menu at Boathouse Restaurant holds numerous options of gastronomical fancies from the two-course brunch set ($35), and three-course brunch set ($42), to the a la carte brunch menu. Diners going for the set menus can enjoy unlimited fresh juices at an additional $12, or knock back unlimited mojitos for a supplementary fee of $36. Fans of bubbly can take advantage of the Easter Moet Champagne promotion at $98 per bottle.

The appetisers for brunch range from the refreshing Saumon ($18) of home-cured salmon, garlic aioli, crème fraiche, and pickled cucumbers; to decadent choices like Salade de Canard ($18) – a gratifying salad with duck confit, green beans, cherry tomatoes and shallots – and the luxurious Aux Cepes ($18) whereby velvety porcini soup is crowned off with foie gras crostini. For mains, there’s the classic Eggs Benedict ($25) with a choice of prosciutto or smoked salmon; the trusty English Breakfast ($25) of croissant, pork sausage, baked beans served alongside truffle-anointed scrambled eggs; and the deftly-executed New Yorker Minute Steak ($32, supplement of $6 for set meals) which pairs Australian rib-eye with greens, and mashed potatoes or French fries. Dessert choices encompass the elegant L’Ispahan ($15) which layers lychee and raspberry coulis atop a base of rose chiboust and hazelnut biscuit, a colourful Trio of Ice-Cream ($9), and Mousse au Bergamot ($15) whereby a quenelle of rich chocolate pave is enlivened by an ethereal bergamot mousse then sprinkled with crumble for textural play.

WIN $100 DINING VOUCHERS
For a spot of whimsical fun, Boathouse is also running an Easter Egg painting competition on the weekend of 19 and 20 April 2014. The most creative egg submitted on Boathouse’s Facebook or posted on Instagram with the tag #BoathouseSG will be rewarded with a $100 dining voucher.
