“Seeing Sounds” by Felix Phang & The Imaginary Forces

Singaporean jazz composer Felix Phang will release his debut album on 10th February 2015 with a concert cum launch event at the Aliwal Centre for the Arts. Made with the support of the National Arts Council, the album titled ‘Seeing Sounds’ by Felix Phang & The Imaginary Forces is a collection of 9 original contemporary jazz tunes comprising 8 large jazz ensemble compositions and 1 solo piano bonus track. The works conjure imagery through the arrangements and reflect Felix’s roots in symphonic band music and later training in jazz composition.

“Seeing Sounds” is happening on Tuesday, 10 February at the Aliwal Arts Centre.
