Known for her instantly arresting voice, Shimona easily captivates audiences with her warm sense of humour, and quirky, easily identifiable lyrics. Her first full-length release, Simply Shimona, featured “The Social Media Song” and “Like a Piece of My Heart”, both of which have received regular radio airplay in Singapore.
After writing and performing “The La La La (Singlish) Song” at NDP 2013, the eclectic songstress’s brand new jazz release, A Walk With My Shadow, puts forth something a little more lush, a little less simple.

Singapore Originals is a series put up by Timbre Music to recognise independent original musical works by Singaporeans, for Singaporeans. Singapore Originals happens every last Wednesday of the month at Timbre @ The Substation (unless otherwise stated).
