Solo Exhibition of Chinese Artist Zhao Yuzhong

Linda Gallery is honored to present Zhao Yuzhong Solo Exhibition 惜物演生记 Cherishing Everything and Mirroring Life by Chinese Artist Zhao Yuzhong. The exhibition will last till 12th January 2016.

For the past two decades, Zhao’s artworks have developed from two-dimensional to three-dimensional, from paper collages to the comprehensive application of paper and cloth. Cutting, sewing, painting and writing on the materials. Zhao also wraps household items, making regular items regain their beauty by her unique creation.

The original functions of the items disappear and they blossom into sculptures. However, the original shape and materials she uses reminds us the warmth of life. Such complete recycling reflects 80-year-old Zhao’s values —to cherish everything.

Solo Exhibition of Chinese Artist Zhao Yuzhong is happening on Saturday, 12 December 2015 at Linda Gallery, 3pm. For enquiries, please call 6476 7000.
