This April, Shiok SG is calling all animal lovers to have a day of delicious fun while doing something paw-sitive at the same time at their third series of Events For A Purpose: Tarts For A Purpose.

Together with TART & Co. and The Garden Slug, the weekend fundraiser will be donating 50% of all proceeds to the beneficiary of choice HOPE Dog Rescue.

Avid pooch-lovers and owners of Singapore’s first bakery that specializes in tarts wanted to marry two of their passions while giving back to the community. The idea came to fruition when everyone came together to organize a weekend comprising of delicious tarts, a dog adoption drive, and a kibble donation drive at a cozy pet-friendly café.

HOPE Dog Rescue is a group of devoted volunteers who commit time out of their regular full-time jobs or school hours to rescue and foster dogs which are abused, neglected or abandoned.

We’re excited to have you join us – whether you’re bringing your furkids for a day out, or thinking about making a friend for life by giving a home to one of the dogs at the adoption drive – it’ll be a paw-fect way to spend a meaningful weekend.
