With a festive makeover, the speakeasy transforms into an after-hours party haven adorned in Chinese New Year trimmings, featuring red lanterns and freebies tucked away in mandarin oranges and red packets. RVLT Dishes Out New Seafood Menu

Celebrating its upcoming 7th year anniversary, Singapore’s innovative raw wine bar, RVLT (Revolution) is yet again embarking on a fresh culinary journey under the guidance of head chef Sunny Leong. Over the course of the year, the menu will undergo a transformation every 4 months, emphasising different key ingredients. The current focus, running until April, centres on seafood, aptly titled Treasures of the Sea, featuring delectable snacks like Parmesan Churros with mentaiko taramasalata and Smoked Mussel Nori Shell with gribiche. Chef Leong’s Crystal Bread with uni butternut squash and caviar makes a triumphant return, complementing the line-up vegetable-forward plates such as Anchovy Endive Petals, Sarawak Laksa Bouillabaisse and the showstopper main courses: the Octopus “Char Siew” with cauliflower puree. Just off of their 15th year anniversary, Midnight Shift is joining hands with Strange Weather to bring the renowned Interstellar Funk to MDLR in a one-night-only event. Held on 17th February, Interstellar Funk, also known as Olf van Elden, brings a glimpse of Amsterdam’s electronic music scene to our streets. VT-00, hailing from Indonesia, will also be supporting the event, bringing a fusion of post-punk, EBM, industrial, and 90s rave to the stage, with his distinctive Bahasa vocals. The line-up is completed by Midnight Shift and Strange Weather resident artists Debbie Chia, Haan, and Yadin Moha, each showcasing their unique musical styles. Not to mention the sonic journey won’t be completed without highballs from Jim Beam.
