The Bollands

Always on the road, New Zealand folk duo The Bollands have been singing their infectious foot stomping folk anthems since 2009. With their love for travel, music and new friendships, they have gained a loyal following throughout Asia (number 1 in the Reverbnation Folk Charts in Hong Kong) and New Zealand. The Bollands have become a mainstay at many international music festivals and events.

The Bollands have gained a reputation for their energetic foot-stomping live shows full of crowd interaction, and sing-alongs. They have received rave reviews from music bloggers, magazines and fans alike, and they have had the privilege of sharing the stage with international artists such as Chris Garneau (USA), Rodney Fisher (Goodshirt, New Zealand), Little Fish (U.K.), The Bads (New Zealand), Sun Eskimos (Hong Kong) and Scott Cook (Canada).

They have toured extensively throughout Taiwan, New Zealand, China and have gained a reputation for their high energy foot-stomping songs and soaring harmonies.

The Bollands have performed live on Hong Kong’s well known TV show RTHK’s ‘The Works’ which has included other international acts such as Jason Miraz and Noughts & Exes. They have also had a number of live performances on radio and been featured in a number of music magazines and websites.

Their debut album was released in June 2012. Their second album ‘So we Sing’ is due for release in May 2014.
