The better a meal the more harmonious should be its complement: wine. The same is true if wine is to be enjoyed with good food for both its flavours to develop more honestly. A food and wine experience enhances a meal; it is pleasing and helps create a convivial atmosphere.

French restaurant, Balzac Brasserie & Bar is celebrating one such stimulating experience: a delightful five-course French dinner paired with four wines from Loire Valley where award-winning Executive Chef Jean-Charles Dubois is from. Accredited by the French Ministry of Agriculture in 2010 with the title of, ‘Chevalier dans l’Ordre du Merite Agricole’, for his contributions in promoting French cuisine outside of France, Chef Dubois complements the honour, ‘Wine, to me, is an integral part of having a meal and I’ve always wanted to pair classic French cuisine with wines from the region where I was from.’

The Food and Wine Experience menu is available for one night only on 19th February 2014 at 7.30pm and is priced at $78++ per person.

By reservations only – (65) 6336 0797.

On the same night, Balzac Brasserie & Bar launches its Ladies’ Night Special, where ladies will enjoy a one-hour free flow of wines from 7pm to 8pm, and every Wednesday thereafter.
