For the first time in South-East Asia, The Macallan will present its newest addition –The Macallan Rare Cask through a multi-sensorial adventure showcasing the exquisite craft that goes behind this latest expression. The interactive exhibition of The Macallan Rare Cask will be in Singapore for a 3-week showcase from 18 July – 02 August in the heart of town. Immerse in this one-of-a-kind experience and enter the world of The Macallan Rare Cask, an inspiring expression that celebrates The Macallan’s unrivalled commitment to sourcing the finest and most expensive sherry seasoned oak casks.

The Macallan is recognized as one of the world’s ultimate luxury spirits. From its spiritual home in Speyside in Scotland, it has built a reputation for its dedication to mastery since 1824. This July, The Macallan introduces The Macallan Rare Cask, a modern, rare and luxurious whisky without any compromise on quality. Crafted only from handpicked, Spanish and American oak sherry seasoned casks, Rare Cask’s rich ruby-red whisky celebrates two of The Macallan’s greatest prides: exceptional sherry-seasoned oak casks and beautiful natural colour.

Our commitment to sherry seasoned oak casks is unquestionable and Rare Cask showcases The Macallan at its very best.’ The timeless quest to select the right cask takes unparalleled effort, patience, and a deep commitment from a dedicated team of 25 to nurture and protect each cask. The exquisite liquid is then hand-chosen from 16 different styles of sherry-seasoned oak casks hand-crafted at the most trusted selection of cooperages in Spain and a handful of partner bodegas. The eventual Rare Cask is the finest cut – with less than 1% of those casks maturing at the distillery deemed fitting for the Rare Cask label by the Master Whisky Maker. The Macallan, one which combines knowledge, skill, passion, commitment and creativity to create a remarkable whisky. A mastery which has wood at its heart.

Taking inspiration from The Macallan’s iconic triangle and intended to showcase the whisky’s brilliant natural color, Rare Cask comes in a stunningly sculpted, heavy glass decanter reflecting the peerless spirit that defines The Enhanced with interactive exhibits, the exclusive experience journey chronicles the planting of every acorn to the handcrafting of the oak cask, as each and every story begins with wood. This remarkable experience would be punctuated with the opportunity to try the sherry that fills the oak casks, and a taste of the exceptional Macallan Rare Cask.
