Featured Artist: Nicola McMahon

Title: MBFC

This month’s featured artist is Nicola McMahon, a 32 year-old photographer from the UK whose style can be described as ‘quirky-street’. With a keen interest in capturing people going about their daily lives, Nicola mainly shoots digital with a Canon 6D but has a love of analogue, unusual film and filters. Combining this love for analogue with her interpretation of a view she sees on a daily basis, MBFC is a series of shots taken with a La Sardinia Lomography camera on 400 ASA Lomography colour film, where she shows the layers and multi-facets of MBFC such as colour, light, materials, movement and people.
