Expect a ravishing assortment of heartfelt dishes such as Buah Keluak Prawns, Sambal Petai Sotong, and Beef Rendang, that’ll have even the most sceptical Peranakan foodies impressed. Best part? Entry to Sentosa is complimentary for cars and taxis after 5pm on weekdays (excluding public holidays).

Long Live Lunch at Lime House

A tribute to everybody’s daily midday meal, Lime House have launched their Long Live Lunch promo – a three course lunch menu straight from the West Indies. Munch a lazy afternoon away or take that much-needed breather from work, as Jiak Chuan’s Caribbean boys prepare colourful and exotic dishes such as the Curry Goat and Jerk Chicken. Wash everything down with the uber tropical flavours of their sweet treats like the deconstructed Piña Colada and Spiced Banana Cake.

Long Live Lunch is every Tuesday to Friday from 12pm to 2.30pm, with a 3-course set menu consisting of a starter, main, and dessert priced at $16.90.

Tea Gastronomy at TWG

Spearheading the tea movement in Singapore since 2008, luxury tea giants TWG will be introducing a gastronomic special at their lavish boutique outlets islandwide. Connoisseurs of the aromatic beverage can indulge in a range of tea-infused culinary creations, featuring exquisite delights such as a Norwegian Salmon Confit doused in Vanilla Bourbon Tea, a Chicken Bourguignonne soaked in Smoky Early Grey, and a Black Cod submerged in a mixed dashi and Meleng FBOP tea broth.

New breakfast, brunch and afternoon tea set menus are available at all TWG Tea Salons in Singapore.

Art of Indian Haute Cuisine at Town Restaurant

Chef Oberoi's Chicken Dish at Town Restaurant, Fullerton Hotel Singapore

Fullerton Hotel’s river-fronted Town Restaurant will play host to a majestic Indian-themed buffet this August. Immerse yourself in a melange of exciting flavours, as guest Chef Oberoi (former Executive Chef of the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel) flaunts his expertise by adding a dash of modernity to traditional Indian cuisine. Look out for dishes such as a Sali Gosht (fragrant mutton curry served with fried potatoes), Jhinga Anardana (succulent prawns topped with roasted coriander seeds, kashmir chilies, and pomegranate seeds), and Atta Chicken (juicy dough-wrapped chicken).

This buffet special is running till Saturday, 22 August from 6.30pm to 10.30pm, and is priced at $55++ per adult, $69++ per adult with a seafood selection, or $89++ per adult with a free flow of draught beer and Singapore sling, and $34++ per child from Wednesdays to Saturdays.

Junmai Daiginjo Omakase Lunch at Lewin Terrace

Sake Dinner at Lewin Terrace, Singapore

Fans of Lewin Terrace’s elegant finesse of Japanese-French cuisine can look forward to a one-day only omakase lunch featuring junmai daiginjo – a type of premium sake with a more labour-intensive brewing process and at least a 50% rice polishing rate. Hosted by sake specialist Mariko Kiyonaga, this is a rare opportunity to try some of the best sakes in the world, such as the Isojima Daiginjo Junmai Emerald, which is sold only once a year in Japan.

This special is happening on Saturday, 22 August from 12pm onwards. Limited to 20 seats.
