The Other Room’s Secret Cocktail Menu

A multi-sensory journey awaits at The Other Room, as a brand new menu of cocktails is carefully curated for the hidden bar. The catch to trying these fabulous drinks? You’ll need to own The Other Room passport and go through a secret passport process, where you earn stamps representing the bar’s signature cocktails before getting the Golden Key to the secret menu. Pollen x Mume Eight-Hands Collaboration

For two nights only on Wednesday and Thursday, Pollen welcomes award-winning modern European restaurant MUME (ranked 43 on Asia’s Best Restaurants 2017) from Taipei in its first ever eight-hands dinner – with Executive Chef Steve Allen and the trio of head chefs behind MUME: Richie Lin, Long Xiong, and Kai Ward. Look forward to signature dishes from the two restaurants, including Wagyu Beef Tartare with Taiwanese touches, Pollen’s Sea & Sand – New Zealand Akoara King salmon with crab bisque foam and cured scallops, as well as a collaboration dish of Steamed Turbot with Herbs.

A Revamped Food Menu at Kilo Lounge

The go-to after-work hang out in Tanjong Pagar, Kilo Lounge has launched a new food menu bringing back dishes from sister restaurant Kilo Kallang, as well as introduced new fusion originals. Highlights include Zucchini Pancakes with goat’s cheese, arugula, and balsamic ($18), Tequila Cured Salmon Flat Bread with jalapeño, cream cheese, pickled onions, and cilantro ($15). Before partying the night away as the lounge transforms into a club, how about toasting to signatures cocktails such as the Kilo’s Mojito ($16) and Macha Sake (Kiku-Masamune sake, matcha-infused gin, $16)?

ATLAS Introduces Five New Dishes

The food menu at ATLAS has been jazzed up by Executive Chef Daniele Sperindio with five new Italian dishes! Playing up the artistic vibes of the Parkview Square establishment, the dishes – such as Crispy Prawn Heads, with Cod skin, Cucumber Relish and Sawagani Crab and Mayura Wagyu Beef Knuckle Steak are artistically plated and cleanly presented for you to savour – and of course, take photos of for social media.

New Craft Beer in Singapore: Brooklyn Brewery

It’s only a month or so before Oktoberfest as we head into September, so it’s with great timing that award-winning craft beer Brooklyn Brewery, founded by Steve Hindy in 1988, makes their debut in Singapore at KPO Café Bar. Signatures such as the Brooklyn Lager and East IPA are regularly on tap for beer lovers to have their fill, while seasonal drinks will be brought it in limited quantities, such as the Bel Air Sour, Black Chocolate Stout and – who can forget – Brooklyn Oktoberfest for the upcoming festival. Also, KPO Cafe Bar’s happy hour is when you can get draft beer for $14.
