It’s time again to let those pulsating tropical rhythms take over your limbs & invade your senses. Immerse yourself in an eclectic mix of deep, funky, tribal and soulful tunes from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, covering everything from vintage analog boogie, to new electronic & pop music.
This ain’t your mom & pop’s version of ‘World Music’! Tropical Temple is all about bringing raw energy and real culture, identity and rhythm of the global dance floor to Singapore. Your humble selectors have only this goal in mind: Expand your musical horizons and get your body moving!

Joshua P started off as a disco mobile jockey in 1999, which naturally makes him a veteran hero in the local club scene. In 2002, he founded and created his own night which aims to deliver the only finest beats in town, called Philes Of Sound (POS). Successfully kicking up a storm on the floors of big clubs such as Zouk –Phuture, and underground venues such as Bar Baa Black Chic, POS earned him promising reviews from national media. Joshua is also currently the entertainment manager at CÉ LA VI – Singapore. Having played alongside local and international DJ acts, Joshua’s influence is international and believes that experimentation is as important as putting out the floorfillers. His versatility in music enables him to appeal to different crowds with dynamic and varied music tastes. Expect only the classiest of tropical sounds ranging from disco, house, funk, soul, & jazz from Africa, Latin America & the Caribbean.

Hailing from Brittany, France, Kusto has been travelling the world in search of the perfect sound for the last 15 years. After holding residencies in London, Milan, Bangkok and Berlin, his record collection has landed in Singapore. Expect a killer selection of infectious grooves ranging from Nigerian boogie to heavy Colombian rhythms.

Starting as a radio DJ in NYC, Bhayology has been organizing & DJing parties to expose dancefloors to exciting new pan-African sounds over the last 4 years in San Francisco, Jakarta, and now Singapore. He’ll be spinning the freshest Tropical Bass coming from the Global South: afrobeats, kuduro, soca, cumbia, moombahton, baile funk, rasterinha, tribal house, and much more.
