Athens

The capital city of Greece was once the heart of ancient Greek civilisation. The number of splendid monuments erected in the city is a testament to its rich and long history, dating back to the 5th century. Now an attractive modern metropolis, there’s plenty to sight-see in this city of unrivaled charm.

Explore the Acropolis of Athens

The Athenian Acropolis is home to one of the most famous buildings in the world: the Parthenon. Built over 2400 years ago, the Parthenon was a old temple dedicated to the goddess Athena, who was regarded as the patron and protectress of the city. Wander through the giant stone columns of the ancient structure and admire the intricate carvings of stonework here. Stroll through the Bustling Streets of Monastiraki

Take in the lively neighbourhood of Monastiraki in this walking tour of Athen’s principal shopping district where market stalls and book sellers sit alongside cafés and restaurants. Santorini

Once an important navigational route for ships entering the Aegean Sea, the Corinth Canal is now a mere waterway separating the Peloponnese from the mainland. Marvel at the Architecture at the Asklepion of Epidaurus

Step into the Asklepion of Epidaurus, the birthplace of the first health centre in Ancient Greece, which is now home to the Asklepion Theatre. Built completely from limestone, the theatre can seat up to 15,000 people and is still in use today. Its excellent acoustics and symmetrical proportions are to be admired, a testament to the skill of the craftsmen in the 4th century.
