Whale’s Belly

For an exquisite seafood-themed dining experience, there’s no better place to go to than Whale’s Belly. Don’t be fooled by Executive Chef Mai Apirawit’s boyish looks, he has plenty of experience despite his tender age. Besides winning Thailand’s Iron Chef in 2014, he also honed his culinary techniques in Le Normandie’s kitchen, and was named ” TOP Young Rise Star Chef ” by Thailand’s Restaurant News magazine. Expect molecular gastronomy at its finest.

When Joel’s not partaking in one of his shameless eating sessions, he likes to think of himself as a sponge – absorbing the mysteries and beauty of our world – be it through a good book or a wacky jaunt in a foreign country.
