“Whose Line is it Anyway?” World-Class Improvised Comedy

The original stars of the legendary hit British TV show ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ return to Singapore for the 3rd year running from May 6th –9th 2015 at klapsons the boutique hotel.

Every year the Singapore shows are a roaring success – all shows completely sell out!

Hugely talented comedians Andy Smart, Stephen Frost, Steven Steen and Ian Coppinger, will turn anything you can think of into a fresh batch of sidesplitting sketches.

‘We’re very excited to play Singapore for the 3rd year running.’ says Ian Coppinger. ‘The last two years have been awesome – Singapore crowds are some of the best we’ve ever had!’

Singapore fans of the TV show will love the live version of the show in a theatre setting; ‘When you see a live show, you become part of the process, like a ping-pong game. It’s like going to a football match – It’s always better live.’ says cast member Ian Coppinger.

‘Every show is different, depending on the audience and their suggestions,’ continues Coppinger. ‘Each night will have a completely different feel.’

Jokes often stray into less politically correct territory than mainstream television channels permit according to Coppinger; ‘The more interesting suggestion the audience gives, the better the show. The beauty of improvisation is that the audience gets what it wants.’

‘Between us, we have something like 130 years of comedy experience,’ says Coppinger. ‘We’ve been together for 20 years at least, which means we trust each other that when we put out a line, the others will pick it up and make something of it. ‘

Whose Line is it Anyway? is running from Wednesday, 6 May to Saturday, 9 May at 8.30pm at Klapsons, The Boutique Hotel.
