Wilderness Live in Singapore

Stockholm-based indie pop group [Wilderness](https://www.facebook.com/wldrns) will be performing live in Singapore this June, and will be accompanied by [The Analog Girl](https://www.facebook.com/theanaloggirl) for their first gig here.

The music is both instrumental and vocal, Balearic and dark, hopeful and sad, and suggestive and rhythmic. A lot of inspiration comes from UK in the 1980’s and artist and art associated with Factory Records like New Order and Joy Division. Inspiration also comes from Swedish acts like Air France, The Tough Alliance and Studio.’Wilderness’ refers to an urban wilderness, rather than wilderness in the sense of landscapes and nature. The band prefers to see themselves as an open group of creative people instead of a band in the classic meaning; anyone who is collaborating with Wilderness is a part of Wilderness.

This World Is Not Ours is their second EP and just like their debut,the songs are dreamy and colorful, and include both male and female vocals.The EP will be available digitally from 24 April 2015.A release party will be held in Stockholm at Debaser Strand 30 April, following which an Asia tour will kick off mid-June, including China, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Nepal. There will also be a release of a special edition album released in conjunction with the band’s Bangkok show, which also then be available for purchase on the rest of the tour.

The event will take place on Saturday 20 June at Blu Jaz from 8pm onwards.
