Sundays with French Cinema: Le Feu Follet
French Cinema

Over 7 weeks, The Projector will ben screening some of the Gaumont Company’s vintage classics – from Godard to Scorsese to Besson. This Sunday sees Louis Malle’s The Fire Within, a penetrating study of individual and social inertia. Alain Leroy, a self-destructive writer who resolves to kill himself and spends the next twenty-four hours trying to reconnect with a host of wayward friends. Unsparing in its portrait of Alain’s inner turmoil and shot with remarkable clarity, The Fire Within is one of Malle’s darkest and most personal films.

Sundays with French Cinema: Le Feu Follet is happening on Sunday, 17 April 2016, 2pm at The Projector. For more details, check out the event page here.
