5 Things To Do This Week In Singapore: 3 July to 9 July 2017

As we bid adieu to the first half of the year, engage in all forms of art this week with a magic show, live art exhibition, and ballet. Then, take it easy with a family-friendly festival and a relaxing picnic in the sun.

Monday Magic Blu

Suspend reality this Monday with magician RAN Superman and his show partner Sally, as they prepare to wow audiences with exquisite showmanship and chemistry. With a Doctorate in Magic Studies from the International Magician Society (yes, it’s a real thing!), and performance experience in LA’s MGM Grand, you can expect a perfectly executed show from the Latino-Singaporean that will leave you mystified and amazed.

Monday Magic Blu is happening on Monday, 3 July 2017, from 8pm – 11pm at Blu Jaz Café, 11 Bali lane, Singapore 189848. For more information, check out their event page here.

Spectres LIVE

Part of the Singapore Festival of Arts, the main focus of Spectres LIVE is artist Zai Tang’s audio-visual installation exploring the theme of extinction. When the sun sets, the exhibition transforms into a performance space, Spectres LIVE, that will see local musicians joining Zai Tang for two hours of improvised performance, based on their interpretations of  “disappearance”. Head on down for a thought provoking session on change and existence.

Spectres LIVE is happening from 6 July – 8 July 2017, from 8pm – 10pm at 72-13 Mohamed Sultan Rd, Singapore 239007. For more information, visit their event page here.
