Art Walk Little India

If we had to choose one cultural precinct in Singapore to never face gentrification, it’d be Little India and all its vibrancy, culture, and charm. ARTWALK Little India is a public project by LASALLE and the Singapore Tourism Board that has been around since last year, and now it returns with a new theme, ‘Your Path To Remember’. Travel into a space in time where memories and stories of the neighbourhood spring to life through animated tellings of traditional folktales and mythologies, alongside intriguing art installations and immersive performances.

Art Walk Little India is happening from 12 to 17 January 2017 around Little India. Participation is free. For more details, check out the event page here.

Blackout presents Eric Volta (GER) and Zig Zach
eric-volta

Rave the weekend in with psychedelic extraordinaire Eric Volta, whose music is just as far out as the man behind it. Having spent the first 20 years of his life wandering through Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, his multi-cultural exposure resulted in a highly diverse musical style. After DJing around London for a good two years, he settled into residency with one of the city’s most respected underground Sunday parties, lo*kee. What to expect: staccato rhythms, floor-pumping bass, and John Carpenter getting summoned out of the Moog.

Blackout presents Eric Volta (GER) and Zig Zach is happening on Friday, 13 January 2017 at Kilo Lounge. Cover charge is priced at $20. For more details, check out the event page here.
