Sasha x Woo Bar
After making a comeback with original tech-house/electronic mix ‘Vapourspace’ a couple years ago and making major reappearances at several sellout shows like re-Fracted (live) at Barbican Centre London, a six-week RESISTANCE residency at Privilege in Ibiza and Coachella festival, Grammy Award nominee and Welsh producer Sasha is taking you on a late night session at Woo bar with W Hotel Bali’s music curator Damian Saint and Indonesian rising star Jonathan Kusuma. An epic lineup to start your weekend early!

Bali Spirit Festival 2018
Expect a soul-nurturing journey through dance, music, yoga and art. Happening at the beloved original venue Bali Purnati Center for the Arts 20 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, this year’s Bali Spirit Festival is bringing back a line-up of yoga and meditation masters Janet Stone, Eoin Finn, Young Ho Kim and many more. Themed ‘Return to Source’, the weeklong event will also see a chain of day and night musical performances by Kamau Abayomi, Jemma, Tina Malia, and local gems such as Zat Kimia and Rhytm Rebels.

Derrick May x Jenja
Detroit electronic musician Derrick May will be bringing his streamlined percussion-heavy techno beats to the basement of Jenja this Friday. Also known as Mayday and Rhythim Is Rhythim, the man is known for his instrumental experimentations, testing the limits of spirit within electronic dance music, with his best materials such as ‘Nude photo’, ‘Strings of Life’ and ‘Kaos’ produced through his very own Transmat Records label. This weekend, his warm Chicago styled tunes will be accompanied by the beats of Jenja’s golden resident DJs Wisdy and Andy Chunes.

Ubud Food Festival 2018
Here comes another three days of culinary festivities that no true foodie should miss out on! The fourth edition of Ubud Food Festival is carries the theme of ‘Generasi Inovasi’ (Generation of Innovation), and is inspired by Indonesia’s young generation driving the nation’s food economy with technology. Join the celebration of the archipelago’s rich culinary heritage through the thrilling transformations made by both emerging and established culinary heroes in Asia – including Singapore-based chefs like Petrina Loh, Sun Kim, and Rishi Naleendra – and spoil your taste buds with special dinners, cooking demonstrations, film screenings, and food tours to masterclasses, as well as several free public events.

VICE x Potato Head Weekender
Look forward to a weekend full of art, film and youth-led culture from another killer collaboration between VICE Indonesia and Potato Head. A line-up of UK and European spinners, including the celebrated DJ Harvey will be shaking Potato Head Beach Club’s dancefloor with disco and dance tunes, alongside Velvet Season & The Hearts of Gold (Gerry Rooney and Joel Martin), Thomas Bullock, and Pete Herbert. Devote the rest of your time checking out Jakarta’s Pleasure crew’s collaboration with Comme des Garçon’s Dover Street Market, as well as workshops and installations by ISLAND OF THE GODS and other local artists. Closing the weekend are the film screenings of ‘Blood, Guts and Bad Acting: Inside Indonesian B Movies of the 80’s’, ‘Boogie Horse’ and ‘The Cult of Debt Forgiveness’ by VICE on Sunday.

Moonlight Festival at La Laguna
In the spirit of the super moon month, La Laguna’s inaugural Moonlight Festival will be taking folks on an enchanting all-night-til’-sunrise experience through musical sets taking place at the three neighboring beach spots of La Laguna, La Brisa, and event partner Bali Green Life. Dance your way through the moonrises and the sunrises amidst the mesmerising setting of sandy beaches, gypsy gardens, and rice fields to the beats of underground music by international musicians such as Petre Inspirescu, Barac Hector Moralez, Franck Roger, Djebali, and more.
