Professional artists living and working in Wessex Estate will open their doors for the eighth open studio event, ArtWalk@Wessex on Saturday March 29 and Sunday March 30 2014.
Set against the leafy backdrop of Portsdown Road are the historical 1940s black and white houses and walk-up apartments that contain the homes and studios of local and international artists.
This year the public will have the opportunity to visit 14 studios and meet artists working in a variety of media including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and ceramics. ArtWalk@Wessex is an opportunity to buy artwork directly from the artists.
ArtWalk@Wessex is free and self guided. Maps will be available at all studios.

Advised start of the Art Walk at Block 28, Woking Road, #03-05 or Block 2, Whitchurch Road, #02-03.
Distinctive signs will make it easy to locate the studios. Look out for participating studios with the ‘ARTWALK@WESSEX’ banners.
