Balian beach is great for surfers with its rolling waves. It is a quiet beach that is nice to stroll along and there are also little cafes nearby. There are also nearby palm groves and rice paddys that make for an interesting and scenic walk. This is a black sand beach and has fun consistent waves that are good for intermediate level surfers. It is recommended that only strong swimmers bathe at this beach.
