Function is a new night at CANVAS that harks back to a simpler time when people just wanted to dance, smile and have fun on a night out. With Function, this feel good night of pure house joy – be it funky or soulful, deep or tech – is anchored by CANVAS’ new residency, Two Shades, a duo with a kaleidoscope of knowledge and sound for all types of House. Expect Infectious, Immersive and Flagrant House.
One of the great things about Two Shades? Stephen Day, a DJ/producer from the Northeast of England and Seng Wei, a Singaporean record label owner/DJ raised in Hong Kong and the United States. They have forged quite a friendship in and out of clubs all across Asia.
Collectively, they have shared the decks with some of House Music’s finest DJ/producers that include, Eric Morillo, Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong, Seamus Haji, Style of Eye, Alex Kenji and more. Both devotee in Singapore’s growing House music scene.
Be ready to check what happens when two House music aficionados meet.
