Catch STAR WARS™ Identities: The Exhibition at ArtScience Museum Singapore Before It Closes on 25 July

Whether you’re a casual fan or a die-hard force freak, there’s no denying the cultural impact of the Star Wars™ franchise since Star Wars: A New Hope™ was released in 1977. So if you haven’t checked out the STAR WARS™ Identities: The Exhibition at the ArtScience Museum, take the opportunity to get up close and personal with original artefacts from the beloved series in an interactive experience before the exhibition closes on 25 July 2021!

Rewarding Weekday Visits to a Galaxy Far, Far, Way

We love a good deal, and we have to tell you that visitors to the exhibition can enjoy one-for-one tickets on weekdays from 15 July till 25 July 2021, including Hari Raya Haji that falls on 20 July. This means that Standard Adult tickets are going at S$32 per pair while Standard Concession tickets (for kids, students, and seniors) are priced at S$24 for two.

Having travelled for across the world since the exhibition opened in Montreal in 2012, Singapore is the last stop of its global tour before returning to the archives. Focussed on the first six films of the canon, here’s what to expect:

Join the Star Wars World in An Immersive Identity Quest

Play a part in George Lucas’ space opera by creating your very own Star Wars character, from choosing the galactic species of your avatar to the kind of abilities you want to develop. Want to join the dark side? That’s your choice too. In the process of building your identity, join the epic journeys of these iconic characters – like Darth Vader, Han Solo, and Obi-Wan Kenobi – and uncover their back stories for an immersive narrative throughout the showcase.

See the Original Artwork that Brought Star Wars to Life

One highlight of STAR WARS™ Identities: The Exhibition is its vast collection of 200 authentic props, models, costumes, and artwork from the original films, the the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, as well as Star Wars: The Force Awakens™. Those interested in movie magic will be entranced by the display of Star Wars‘ creative process of filmmaking from early concept drawings, storyboarding, model making, through to puppetry and costume design.

Expect to see fan favourites from the classic and prequel trilogies such as Yoda, R2-D2, Chewbacca, and the Millennium Falcon, alongside newer additions to the universe like an original First Order stormtrooper outfit and a model of the Uber-cute droid BB-8.

Did You Know…?

Those interested in a more holistic experience can opt to join the exclusive STAR WARS™ Identities guided tour happening at 2pm on Friday, 23 July 2021. The hour-long, one-day only experience takes you through the exhibition with exciting behind-the-scenes insights about the hallowed films.
