Celebrate the Festive Season at Morton’s The Steakhouse

Dining area

With so many restaurants offering specially-crafted menus for the festive season, you’re definitely spoilt for choice in Singapore! However, for special occasions like Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, it’s best to pick a place that you know is going to provide high quality produce and a seamless dining experience. For us, one of those restaurants is Morton’s The Steakhouse, which never fails to impress with its succulent steaks and seafood, vast wine selection, and hospitality.

Widely recognised at one of the best steak houses in Singapore, the highlight of the year-end season is their 3-course festive menu (available on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve).

Priced at S$188++  per person, the meal kicks-off with a selection of amuse bouche (bite-sized snacks) while you peruse the menu for the meal ahead. Select your entrée from five of Morton’s most iconic starters, including the creamy Lobster Bisque, tasty Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, and the classic American-styled Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. Those looking for some greens will do well with the Caesar Salad or Morton’s Salad.

The second course cuts to the chase, bringing you straight to the meats. For steaks, choose between Morton’s signature 8oz Centre Cut Filet Mignon or the fattier 16oz Centre Cut Prime Rib Eye. Don’t eat red meat or want something less heavy? Opt for the Chilean Sea Bass A la Nage – freshly caught and cooked to perfection – or the Chicken Christopher, a comforting dish featuring chicken breast and a delicious garlic butter sauce. All the meaty mains are paired with your choice of Sautéed Spinach & Button MushroomsCreamed Corn, or for the carb-lovers, creamy Mashed Potato.

Finish off the meal on a sweet note with one of Morton’s irresistible desserts. The Morton’s Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake and Vanilla Ice Cream is legendary with good reason, while the Key Lime Pie is without doubt one of the best we’ve had in Singapore. If you have a yen for something rich and creamy for dessert, you can’t go wrong with their Homemade New York Cheesecake.

If, for some reason, the 3-course menu doesn’t appeal, you’ll be happy to know that Morton’s extensive a la carte menu will also be available for ordering. Those looking for a night cap can also pop by Morton’s bar – and perhaps indulge in one of their famed martinis before they go!

Morton’s The Steakhouse is located at Level 4, Mandarin Oriental Singapore, 5 Raffles Avenue, Singapore 039797, p. +65 6339 3740.
