SUB.LIME is a conduit for the shared musical passions of three Singapore DJs: Paul Seow (aka The LFK), Maurice Simon and Jon Ramsay. It’s a collaboration with heart and soul; an attempt to channel the spirit of old-school Chicago and Detroit while staying true to their musical roots on the dancefloors of London and Singapore.
It’s a love letter to house music in all its forms, from disco divas to the warehouse purists, borne of a belief that four-to-the-floor beats and timeless melodies really do bring people together.
Having notched up over three decade’s worth of experience despite their youthful looks, their collaboration brings together three of Singapore’s more discerning selectors, each with his own sound and approach.
Deep house, tech house, garage and nu disco all feature in their repertoire. Individually, they have played at some of Singapore’s best clubs, including Zouk, Butter Factory, Kyo and Home Club, and held residencies at venues such as Tanjong Beach Club, Loof, Kinki, Blu Jaz and White Rabbit.
Together, they plan to reinvigorate Singapore nightlife with a refreshing blend of house grooves that pay homage to the old while waving hello to the new.
