Remember when you had to Dragon Boat during school camps? Those days are back.
The inaugural Dragon Battle 2015 in Singapore is a free-for-all event, promoting Asia’s first dragon boat pool battle! The game involves two teams of six individuals each in a 20-crew dragon boat in an Olympic-sized swimming pool, seated directly opposite each other and paddling in opposite directions, similar to a tug-of-war game, to past the center mark to win. There will be a host of other activities on that day for the whole family, including various pool activities like Kayaking, Water-wheeling and Stand-Up Paddling.
Triple Pte Ltd, the exclusive distributor of revolutionary US performance sports label, Under Armour, in Southeast Asia partners with Dragon Boat Innovate, organiser of the first Dragon Battle 2015 in Singapore, as the official apparel sponsor for Dragon Battle 2015.
Dragon Battle 2015 Family Day will be held at Recreation Clubhouse, Orchid Country Club, 1 Orchid Club Road, Singapore 769162 from 9am to 4pm on Sunday, 29 March 2015. Admission is FREE, activities are on first-come-first-serve basis.
