Full Steam Ahead – An Indie-disco Beach Festival Series

Inspired by American beach culture, Full Steam Ahead will embody the eccentricities and laid-back vibes of Los Angeles’ Venice Beach during the day, and Miami’s trademark wild South Beach parties at night.

The festival will feature a range of lifestyle partners and programming activities that is sure to cater to all whims and fancies. During the day, have fun at tie-dye stations (3:30pm) and coconut bikini classes (4pm) as we learn something new. For those who want some pampering while partying, we’ve got sunset yoga classes (5pm) and massages (6pm) lined up to prepare you for a night out. Gather your pals for a round of air hockey and beer pong to get the party started. For those that are into something a little more mysterious and adventurous, the snake charmer makes his rounds around the sand from 10pm onwards as tarot card readings are in full force at the Hideout station. For those that need a little extra accessorising to get you into the mood, there is a deck-out station to make your own head-dresses and get metallic tattoos.

Of course, no party is complete without hot headliner spin-masters. A Neon Disco dance zone will feature strong international Nu-Disco acts to our iconic local line-up. Loulou Players, Dave Does, Wee Like Me of Poptart fame are just some of the act already signed to the festival. More DJ acts will be announced shortly.

OverEasy, Super Loco and Popaganda have signed off to feed our hungry festival goers, providing only the best of beach party grub, ranging from Truffle Burgers to tantalising tacos;and even fruity frozen refreshments in limited editions flavours. Make this a night to remember!
