Remember November, for it’s one for the books as we start the year-end festivities in full swing and one of our tastiest lineups yet. Darker Than Wax showcases multi-instrumentalist, beat-maker and sound designer Jaël from the black-influenced beats label, supported by Funk Bast*rd, RAH b2b William J and Kaye.
21 year old multi-instrumentalist, beat-maker and sound designer Jaël’s passion for music was nurtured from a young age as he grew up listening to his parents’ classic collection of funk and soul. Once learning how to play the guitar, drums and keys, he naturally progressed to producing electronic sounds too which has lead him to today experimenting with both acoustic and electronic, fusing genres whilst always maintaining the smoothness and funk. Exploring this approach, Jaël is currently working on his first EP, forthcoming on Darker Than Wax.
kyo presents DTW SHOWCASE feat. JAEL is happening on Friday, 6 November 2015 at Club Kyo. Admission is $20 for ladies, and $25 for men (inclusive of 1 drink).
