This one is exactly the traditional bakery that would give you that feeling of nostalgia from the memory of having your childhood pastries like kueh neng gou. Ng Kim Lee does their egg tarts especially well, which explains why they are so popular among the locals. With a semi-sweet egg custard encased in a buttery tart, a bite would send you right back when you were getting a treat from grandma’s latest batch. They also have available tiny little muffins that have been transformed with a touch of tradition- these muffins come in metal foil cups that give them an additional rustic touch, and are so buttery they almost melt n your mouth. With an array of flavors (and colors) to choose from, they are tasty and also fun for everyone!
