Reggae Night with MARAPU Reggae Roots

Marapu is a Roots Reggae band formed in Jogjakarta 15 years ago in 2000. A far cry from your typical Reggae cover band, they play authentic and original Roots Reggae, and have recorded 3 original albums to date.
The band have become extremely popular across Indonesia and their music is played frequently on many radio stations throughout the country. In recent years they have become one of the biggest Reggae bands in Bali, performing regularly at some of the hottest live music venues on the island, including; Deus, Single Fin, Hard Rock Café, Kudeta, Apache Reggae Bar and many more.
Their music carries a positive message and explores a variety of lyrical themes, with a focus on raising awareness of social issues.
This year they will celebrate their 15th anniversary by releasing their 4th album in November and [Jazz Café](https://www.facebook.com/jazzcafebali/likes) is proud to present Marapu for the first time in Ubud!
