The diminutive Shoebox Canteen which sits in front of cocktail bar Bitters & Love is a nice spot for a pocket friendly bistro lunch in the CBD. The deal is comfort food served up without any pretension. A must order here is the Homemade Beef Burger which made our list of best burgers in Singapore! Expect a concise menu of affordable, crowd-pleasing grub which changes every 4 weeks, making it a firm favourite with the lunchtime CBD crowd.
