Surveyor Thomson Wine Pairing Dinner

A one-night-only event, Salt Bar And Sky Grill will host a 5-course dinner featuring a range of Pinot Noir from the site of Domaine Thomson, in the heart of Central Otago (New Zealand). The stellar wine will be matched with modern Australian delights such as the Maple and Lavender Duck Breast with Cauliflower Puree, Shimeji Mushrooms, Broad Beans and Onion Rings.

About Surveyor Thomson Wine:

Family-owned Surveyor Thomson Vineyard is part of the Domaine Thomson Wines brand. The ‘Surveyor Thomson’ name comes from New Zealand’s first Surveyor General, John Turnbull Thomson – the great grandfather of David Hall-Jones, owner of the vineyard. Surveyor Thomson Wines is dedicated to growing and producing exceptional single vineyard Pinot Noir from its Lowburn site in Central Otago, New Zealand. Prominent New Zealand winemaker Dean Shaw of the Central Otago Wine Company produced the first Surveyor Thomson Pinot Noir in 2003 and continues to do so today. Dean’s “hands off” approach ensures that the wine produced reflects the terroir of the biodynamic vineyard. Aged in French Oak barrels, Surveyor Thomson Pinot Noir is supple and well balanced.

This dinner will be held at Salt Grill & Sky Bar on the 13th of August at 7pm. The dinner is priced at $150 nett, including matching wines. For more information and to make reservations, please sall (65) 6592 5118 or Email: [email protected].
