CÉ LA VI Presents New Cocktail Menu
Hang out at the top of Marina Bay Sands with some intoxicating thirst-quenchers. CÉ LA VI has introduced an all-new cocktail programme under the direction of Lead Mixologist Andrew Hyman and each section of the rooftop destination now have their own signatures (all priced at S$25++ each). For instance, the Restaurant Signatures marry global ingredients with Asian influence, such as Cuban rum with pineapple sambal, while the Sky Lounge Signatures feature day-to-night easy-drinking tipples like Once in a Life Time, a tall drink of gin, wasabi, and seaweed.

Online restaurant, Vegamama, has finally given us the meat-free version of the beloved Cantonese food group – dim sum. Inspired by a need to help the planet, Vegamama is an eatery that’s as delicious as it is environmentally friendly. Featuring all the favourite dim sum delights, such as vegan siew mai and har gao, you won’t be able to tell the difference as you dine on these bite-sized dumplings. Choose between a la carte offers or a selection of your favourite dim sums; prices start from S$4.50 for four pieces of Vegan Char Siew Bao.

Spoil Yourself With an Italian Wine Pairing Dinner
GEMMA Steakhouse pulls out all the stops on their five-course Perfect Pairings Wine Dinner happening Saturday, 27 February. Curated by group executive chef Daniele Sperindio and sommelier Chip Steel, highlights of their elegant feast ($238++ per person) include the pumpkin ravioli with wild chanterelles and castelmagno that goes with with a 2016 Barbera d’Alba Bric Du Gir, and the king of wines, a Giacomo Fenocchio Barolo 2016 paired with 45-Day Dry-Aged Sirloin with whipped rosemary cream and roasted sunchoke.

Western Flavours with An Asian Twist at Tablescape
Paying tribute to Singapore’s UNESCO World Heritage Site, Tablescape’s new Botanic Garden starter is delicate and vibrant, featuring charcoal-grilled aubergine drizzled with housemade secret dressing. The rest of their a la carte menu is equally bold, but boasts comforting flavours in an East-meets-West culinary experience. Their Foie Gras, one of the most Eurocentric ingredients we know, honours the Asian penchant for adding subtle notes of sweetness. Duck liver is seared in wild cherry juice, and served with a daikon and milk cream – intrigued yet?
