Asiatique – The Riverfront

Combining a mall and a night bazaar, Asiatique – The Riverfront is a massive shopping area comprising of over 1500 boutiques and 40 restaurants. You can get everything from fashionable Thai brands to handicrafts and jewellery at Asiatique, the amount of shopping options are near limitless. For entertainment, there is also a Thai Puppet Show by Joe Louis Theatre and a ladyboy show by Calypso Cabaret. While it is touristy, it is a worthwhile place to check out.

Getting there: Take the BTS to Saphan Taksin and jump on the free shuttle at the end of the pier. The ride takes ten minutes, and the boat runs until 23:00. Taxis are not recommended as the traffic can be terrible in this area.
