Le Mayer Museum houses the works of Adrien- Jean Le Mayeur, a Belgian painter who lived in Bali for many years. Le Mayeur arrived to Bali in 1932 and was soon fascinated by Balinese culture. His favorite subject was nude Balinese women but he also depicts everyday scenes of traditional Bali life.
