Back on the back of bassic, this boundless Velvet residency (now in its third year) comes smashing into 2015 with Jamie XX. He, as you already know, is the producer and remixer du jour best known for his work with English indie outfit, The XX, but has also made a name for himself as a solo mainstay on the much-lauded Young Turks label and with his endless list of remix duties for the likes of Four Tet, Adele, Nosaj Thing, Florence + The Machine and more. With influences borrowed from the UK Garage, Dubstep and Electronica fronts, Jamie XX’s sensitive, keen and astute musical prowess will see him blazing through on basslines that will hit all the right bassic spots.
